The US Men’s National Team have announced their squad for the FIFA World Cup 2023 which is slated to begin from November 20, 2022, in Qatar. The 26-member squad will be representing the United States in their hunt for the World Cup title.
USA’s FIFA World Cup campaign will begin on November 22 against Wales. They have been drawn alongside England, Wales, and Iranin Group B of the tournament. USA made it to the FIFA World Cup this year after finishing on the third spot of CONCACAF round of qualification.
In the qualification round, they managed to win 7 out of the 14 games that they played, while drawing 4 games and losing 3 games. The most notable exclusions from the USA Squad were that of Ricardo Pepi and Zack Steffen. While Pepi has scored 5 goals in his last 7 games with FC Groningen, Steffen had the reputation to be in the lineup as the 2nd choice goalkeeper.

The FIFA World Cup 2022 is all set to begin on November 20 in Qatar. The first match of the tournament will be played between hosts Qatar and Ecuadorat the Al Bayt Stadium at 09:30 pm IST.
The group stage games will be played till December 03 before the Round of 16 games start on the same day. The Final of the tournament is slated to be played on December 18 at the Lusail Stadium.
Viacom18 have the Broadcasting and Streaming rights of the tournament in India wherein, the games will be televised on the Sports18 channel and will be live streamed on the Jio Cinema app.
