U.S. Soccer announced Tuesday that the USMNT will play three friendlies in September and October this fall on home soil. First up is a game against Canada at Children’s Mercy Park in Kansas City on September 7. The United States then take on New Zealand at the TQL Stadium, Cincinnati on September 10. The third and final fixture comes on October 12 against Panama at the Q2 Stadium in Austin.
The match-up against Canada in Kansas comes as part of Fan Appreciation Night, an evening of celebration and the chance for supporters to win prizes. Meanwhile, the USMNT's fixture against Panama will be part of U.S. Soccer’s Hispanic Heritage Night. The matches come after the Copa America and will be part of the team's preparations for the 2024-25 CONCACAF Nations League quarter-finals which are scheduled for November.
The USMNT will be confident of success in all three games as they have never lost in any of their fixtures played at all three venues.
