Vidhatri Urs, fresh from a hat-trick of titles, starts favourite.

Vidhatri Urs, fresh from a hat-trick of titles, will start the favourite in the 12th leg of the Women’s Pro Golf Tour, scheduled to open at the DLF Golf and Country Club on Wednesday.

Quite professional in her maiden season, Vidhatri has won three titles from five starts so far. She was third in her first two events.

Hitaashee Bakshi who leads the Order of Merit, following two titles so far, will be the main challenger. Rain had reduced the 11th leg to 36 holes last week at the Delhi Golf Club. The National Capital Region (NCR) continues to get more rain and thus could pose a serious challenge for the golfers.

Amandeep Drall, Sneha Singh, Vani Kapoor, Gaurika Bishnoi, Neha Tripathi and Shweta Mansingh will be some of the other leading golfers vying for top positions.

A bunch of amateurs led by Mannat Brar and Keerthana Rajeev will also try to capitalise on the tournament.
