Vidushi clinches three medals at India Open Shooting Championship
Chandigarh: Chandigarh shooter Vidushi Rawat has won two silver and one bronze medal at the India Open Shooting Championship held in Goa. In this championship, organized by the National Rifle Association, Vidushi secured two silver medals in the 50-meter prone rifle category in both the senior and junior divisions, and a bronze medal in the 50-meter three-position event. The championship was held from August 18 to 28.
Over 2,000 shooters from across the country participated in this championship. Vidushi had previously won four gold medals in the prone and 50-meter three-position categories at the Chandigarh State Shooting Championship. Earlier this year, Vidushi also won two gold medals at the GV Mavlankar Shooting Championship held in Mhow. Vidushi's goal is to win a medal at the National Shooting Championship to be held in November this year. According to her coach Vikas Prasad, based on Vidushi's performance, she is expected to win medals in national and international championships in the future.
