It's all darkness at the south pole of the moon where is India's Vikram Lander and Pragyan Rover, and now they're sleeping.
Both Lander and Rover have completed their primary mission and are now preparing for the upcoming two-week lunar night as reported by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).
But ISRO hopes the two iconic vehicles might wake up when the sun rises again above the moon's south pole.
"As of 11 pm IST yesterday, sunset has occurred at the Shiv Shakti point. Vikram and Pragyan are now in complete darkness. 🌑This concludes both of their primary mission. The Chandrayaan-3 mission, as far as the Lander and Rover are concerned, is a 100% SUCCESS ✅️Once again, congratulations to @isro for such a flawless mission!" said ISRO.
"It's a waiting game for now until 22 Sept. In the meantime, let us hear from you! What impressed you the most about this mission? Do you think Vikram and Pragyan will wake up again?"added ISRO.
The Space Organisation also released a 3-dimensional 'anaglyph' image of the Chandrayaan-3 Vikram lander from the south pole of the Moon. This image features the left image within the red channel, and the right image within the blue and green channels, resulting in a striking cyan hue.

It's now just a matter of time, with hope, believing in Science, technology and our scientists, we just hope our two iconic vehicles wakes up when the sun rises again.
Till then they both can rest, they have done a good job on the moon.
