Vinesh's uncle, Mahavir Phogat, expressed his impatience in an exclusive interview with India Today, stating they have been eagerly waiting for nearly a week. Despite the uncertainty, Mahavir, a former wrestler, affirmed that they will celebrate Vinesh's return as if she had won the gold medal.

The CAS's delayed decision follows Vinesh's appeal for a joint silver medal after being disqualified from her gold medal bout for being 100 grams overweight.
