As we commemorate today, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, Let's just give it a full stop right from the beginning to the Violence. Violence as a term is a broad one and its just not about the domestic abuses, it is way more than that. 

Rape and Sexual Assault, Stalking & Harassment, Child Sexual Abuse, "Honour" Crimes, Forced Marriage all of these involves women as victims and now the predators are not only just men but even women are included. Women placing other women as a scapegoat.

Violence needs a full stop from the very first red flag, especially the ones done in the name of love. It's a trap masked with love and manipulation of the victim. The first step to come out of it is to recognise it, understand that it is NOT NORMAL and when she is seeking for help we should be able to give her the strength and say it is not normal and a single act of abuse is not right and okay. Women needs to empower other women rather than crushing them down.
