It's not phones, brands are also coming up with accessories, now Vivo has unveiled its latest smartwatch, the Vivo Watch 3, alongside the launch of its flagship X100 series smartphones.
This new offering succeeds the Watch 2 that made its debut back in 2021. The Vivo Watch 3 boasts several enhancements over its predecessor.
Notably, the smartwatch has been launched in China. Vivo is yet to launch a smartwatch in India.
The Vivo Watch 3 has a thinner design and includes a stainless steel rotating crown and a button on the right side for easy use. Its 1.43-inch round screen has curved glass that gives it a 3D effect. This screen provides a clear resolution of 466 x 466 pixels and stays on all the time (Always-On Display or AOD mode). Plus, it's water-resistant up to 5 meters, making it more durable.
Health and fitness enthusiasts will find the Watch 3 appealing, as it includes a heart-rate monitor, SpO2 sensor, and alerts users to abnormal fluctuations. The device tracks various aspects like sleep, stress levels, and even menstrual cycles for women. It also alerts users to high noise levels for hearing protection. Offering support for over 100 workout modes and customized exercise plans, it caters to diverse fitness routines.
Powered by Vivo's proprietary BlueOS operating system based on Rust programming language, the Watch 3 includes features such as NFC car keys, camera control, and more. Users can store cards and utilize wrist-raised swiping, along with QR code display for payments. Additionally, it supports eSIM for hands-free voice calls and connects with TWS earbuds. With 64MB RAM and 4GB native storage, it offers music storage capabilities.
The Vivo Watch 3 packs a 505mAh battery unit, ensuring a claimed battery life of 16 days on a single charge. The watch is available in Moonlight White, Starlight, and Bright Moon colors. Pricing depends on the versions and different strap options.
