Watch shredded Jake Gyllenhaal film scene for Roadhouse with Conor McGregor at UFC 285 weigh-in and fans go crazy
MMA fans went wild as Hollywood superstar Jake Gyllenhaal filmed a scene for his upcoming film after the UFC 285 weigh-ins.
Fans in attendance at the MGM Grand Garden Arena were just about to head for their night out after Jon Jones and Ciryl Gane finished facing off for their UFC 285 showdown.
But they soon turned around when UFC commentator Joe Rogan shouted: "I'm going to hand the mic over to Conor McGregor."
After coming on stage and embracing Jones, who will fight for the heavyweight title early on Sunday morning. McGregor roared: "Las Vegas!"
He then revealed everyone in attendance would be part of his upcoming film, Roadhouse, with Gyllenhaal.
He asked: "Who's ready for tomorrow night?
"We've got the biggest fight in Roadhouse history, Harris versus Dalton UFC 222.
"Everyone in this arena, you're about to be part of my movie that's coming out with myself and Jake Gyllenhaal
"A Joe Silver production, make sure to cheer for the weigh-ins and let's go Las Vegas."
The Roadhouse remake sees Gyllenhaal play an ex-UFC fighter who ends up working as a bouncer in the Florida Keys, while Mcgregor's exact role in the film has not been. revealed.
Shortly after McGregor left the stage, Gyllenhaal, who plays Dalton, performed a full UFC weigh-in routine in front of a raucous crowd.
Gyllenhaal, who was playing the middleweight title
challenger, looked in unbelievable shape as he took the scales with a physique chiselled to the bone.
Former UFC fighter Jay Hieron - who was acting as defending champion Harris - came out to a chorus of boos and promptly got in Gyllenhaal's face.
And he ended up slapping Hieron before being held back by security.
In his final pre-fight interview, he said: "I can't believe I trained six weeks for this s**t. For this piece of s**t.
"Just give me the belt now. Come on motherf***er. Let's go!!"
Roadhouse is set to be released later this year, although a date has not yet been announced.
