The weather patterns have changed quite a bit in Delhi. It's almost mid September and its humid and as per the IMD prediction, the city will have cloudy sky and light rains are also expected today.
Hopefully the rain will bring relief and won't make the city more humid.
According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the maximum temperature on Wednesday is expected to be 36 and the minimum temperature will be 27 degrees Celsius. Wind speed can range from eight to 12 kilometers per hour.
Due to the rains in the past few days in Delhi, the weather still remains humid. Due to this, the temperature did not increase very rapidly.
The day's maximum temperature was recorded at Delhi's Standard Observatory Safdarjung at 34.5 degrees Celsius, which is one degree above normal.
On the other hand, the humidity level remained between 93 to 64 percent.
IMD said that the day is expected to be cloudy an the maximum temperature will be 35 degrees Celsius.
Heavy rains have been predicted for various states over next four days that includes West Bengal, Jharkhand, Chattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh.
IMD has also predicted red alert for six districts in Odisha.
In parts of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand also heavy rains are predicted.
Even predictions of light rainfall are there in the North Eastern states.
