The IMD highlights very dense fog predictions in north Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram, and Tripura. Cold day conditions are expected to continue in parts of North India on January 11 but are anticipated to abate thereafter. No cold wave conditions are foreseen across the country in the next four days. Ground frost conditions are likely in Uttarakhand, and a temperature drop of 2-3°C is anticipated in central and East India.
