You have reached the final week of your first trimester, 13 weeks just flew away like that. Can you believe you're already at your third of the way through your pregnancy?

If you're 13 weeks, you'll be in the 3rd month of your pregnancy. So only 6 months to go!

Your baby is almost a size of a lemon now, that head of theirs is now about half the size of their crown to rump length. That's one of the reason why your little one looks like an alien from the outer space at this point. Byt the time you give birth, their body will catch up which measures thre quarters of their total size.

But don't compare your fetus with the fetus next door. Starting in the next week or so, babies begin growing at different paces, some faster than others, some more slowly, though they all follow the same developmental path.

At 13 weeks pregnancy, their tiny bones are starting to form in their arms and legs. As they can move them in a jerky fashion, they may not get their thumb into their mouth soon.

Your baby's little vocal cords are also developing. You wouldn't be able to hear them cry or cooing just yet, but you can bet thT little voice will get a good workout once they're born.
