If you’re 6 weeks pregnant then you’re in your second month of pregnancy. So it's only 7 months more to go!
How big is my baby at 6 weeks?
While you're 6 weeks pregnant, your baby's crown to rump measurement is anywhere from a fifth to a wuater or an inch and growing which is making it the size of a nailgead or a sweet pea.
Baby's head starts to take shape
You might be coping with a full blown pregnancy symptoms but there's plenty of good news as well. The fold of tissue in the prominent bump on top which is the head are developing into your baby's jaw, cheeks and chin which will eventually start to become one adorable face.
Then comes the ear canals in the making, with small dots on the face which will form into eyes and button nose within few weeks.
Your baby’s kidneys, liver and lungs along with a little heart starts to form.
Measuring your embryo
When the embryo and fetal develops, practitioners measure babies as small as yours from precious little crown to cute little rump. That's because your baby grows, the legs will be bent which makes it hard to get an accurate reading on the full length of the body.
The symptoms you'll have during this week is frequent urination, heartburn and indigestion.
