Well, Netflix either makes exceptional shows or really poor ones. Unfortunately, this is one of the exceptional shows. Everything is really good, fun, and just joyful to watch. The plot is new and original, quite entertaining and fun, and very easy to follow. It revolves around some magical keys that give people "non-adualt ones" access to their dreams and wishes, or fairy tale stuff like that. They've created a very fun, loving story around this; it has magic, drama, even family and teen typical problems. The cast is just brilliantly chosen. I love Darby Stanchfield; she's just very talented and easy to connect with. Emilia Jones and Conner Jessup are also somewhat brilliant; their performances are very solid and refreshing. This is a show with a considerably high budget, so there are a lot of incredible scenes you should expect when things get magical. Sometimes you forget that you're actually watching a series, not a movie. Like I said, the show revolves around magic, but there are also a lot of mysteries, emotional love stories, wicked schemes, etc. going on around it, not to the point that it makes the show messy and confusing, just enough to keep it very interesting and dynamic, so it never gets stale and boring. I think it's one of the best fantasy drama shows that Netflix has made in recent years.
