In the series of the introduction of Afghanistan's sights, we have now prepared an article about the Eidgah Mosque in Kabul, which is considered the largest mosque in the capital of Afghanistan. The purpose of this series is to introduce you to Afghanistan, a country that is burning in the fight against international terrorists and whose enemies are still holding hands to undermine the national interests of this land. At present, Afghanistan is considered to be the best recreational and scenic place in the world with its spectacular scenery. In the following paragraphs, you will receive general information about this mosque.
Edgar Mosque is located between Alimardan Garden and Chaman Hazuri in Kabul, Afghanistan. This mosque was built in 1311 AH, and its repair work was completed in 1315 AH. There is a stone inscription on the wall of the mosque in which all the features are listed. In this mosque, in addition to praying, official gatherings and jirgas were also held. For example, the war with Britain was declared to restore Afghanistan's independence from the stone pulpit of this mosque; Other ethnic jirgas and general decisions were held in the same mosque.
East of Alimardan Garden and northwest It has patterned altars and a large central altar and two lower altars and has ten large minarets. Only the top of the dome is large, and the surface is iron-clad.
The mosque was built about one meter higher than the courtyard, and previously the square of the mosque was limited by a brick wall. There are three large gates of income to the east to the east with gilded and decorated arches, which were of historical origin and existed. Unfortunately, after the coup d'etat of 1978, it was destroyed, and its flowers, bushes, and trees were cut down. The courtyard was covered with bitumen and concrete.
