Unconditional love means that love doesn't go away based on what they are/aren't doing. You accept and love them for who they are (even when you don't like them). You set limits on what behaviors you will/will not accept.

It doesn't mean that you tolerate disrespect or maltreatment. You have zero boundaries in the relationship. You ignore your values or needs in the relationship
