Crop damage is one of the other drawbacks that India might witness during the period.

Agriculture, a significant employer, depends on the monsoon. Sectors like edible oil, sugar, and textiles are vulnerable.

If El Nino affects the monsoon, it may lead to downward growth revisions, profitability, and increased import dependency.

Besides all these impacts, there could be some other damages too like the severe cyclone storm.
