What are you willing to die for?
In a world that is plagued by conflict, war, political strife, threats to our freedom and our republic, we have to ask ourselves - at what point do we stop standing on the sidelines, and we fight on the front lines instead?
Would you take a bullet for America, like so many soldiers do? Would you run into a burning house to save a family? Would you risk imprisonment, or even death, to protest for a cause that you believe in? Would you take a leap of faith, knowing you might lose everything, for something you hold dear?
Many of us have these causes, and many of us are still figuring it out. Maybe it was the day you had your first child when you realized it, when you dedicated yourself to God, when you took an oath, when you saw an injustice. If you don’t have something that you’re willing to die for today, you may just have one in the future.
Think about it. Where would we be right now in America if our founding fathers didn’t pledge their lives to the cause of liberty? If revolutionary soldiers and modern day U.S. service members didn’t run towards gun fire and fight evil both at home and abroad?
America would likely be a place entirely different with no freedoms if people didn’t die for it.
