Many atheists sometimes disregard this occurrence as being impossible from a scientific standpoint. Well, it makes sense because most people are not taught to think beyond what they can see. A lot of you don't believe in miracles and that's why they don't happen to you.
Jesus worked more than 40 miracles throughout the course of His ministry, including healing the sick, reshaping the elements of nature, and even reviving the dead.
Jesus fed the multitude and then bid farewell to the large audience before sending His disciples off to their boat. He instructed the disciples to board the boat and sail across the Sea of Galilee. After that, Jesus ascended a mountain to pray.
Jesus was in prayer while His followers were battling a fierce storm. Many of the disciples were skilled fishermen, but the heavy wind was making progress difficult for them. Jesus approached them after observing their situation and simply walked on water, through the wind, and the waves.
Peter was with Jesus, walking on water. A big gust of wind came and Peter was startled. Due to his shaking faith, he started sinking into the deep, stormy sea. Jesus was quick to help him and asked, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?”
Seeing him walk on water was how many finally believed thay He was indeed God's son.
