Bedecked with a stethoscope and adorned by the white coat, they are a group defined by compassion. The Midas touch of the healer ends suffering. They have the power to colour the lives of the blind and make music a possibility for the deaf. They are the harbingers of relief.

The darker side? Violence against doctors has become disturbingly frequent of late. Doctors are help responsible for outcomes they could not have influenced, beaten up mercilessly. All the hard work to get beaten up? Manhandled even after you try your best to save lives? But then, it all comes down to the one day when a doctor is the only one standing between the patient and the grave!
