If you love K-dramas or just trying out different cuisines in general, then Korean food is probably on your list, but one gets taken aback upon seeing the menu.
It’s not always easy to find good restaurants with a variety of options for us vegetarians. However, Delhi has some amazing places for people like us who have been longing to try out this cuisine!
I recently visited the Gangnam Korean restaurant in Majnu-ka-tilla, which is pretty popular and for good reasons.
The place has an incredible ambience and a pretty cozy vibe. We had the option of getting a separate room, which was super cool! (You’ve got a bell that you can ring if you need anything— amazing for introverts, ngl.)
We ordered a vegetable Kimbab, vegetarian ramen, and a Bibimbap. They serve the food with side dishes (called Banchan) like Kimchi which is essentially fermented cabbage, and Kongnamul Muchim, which are soybean sprouts.
Though the vegetarian options are limited, they are still worth trying and are pretty filling. I would suggest you order less and first try out a couple options because not everyone can adapt to the taste.
Personally, I would visit again, so it is highly recommended! 🍜🙌🏽
What is your favourite Korean dish, if you’ve tried any? Or do you have a favourite Korean restaurant in Delhi?
