WHY ARE ORANGE CATS WEIRD? 😭

Meet Felix- He is my sister's orange Persian cat. My sister adopted him quite a few years ago so he's pretty old now. He spends most of his time tucked under the bed, probably pondering about his own life. He only ever ventures out of his safe haven when called upon for food, and in even rarer occurences he makes his presence felt when there are some guests in the house. He goes to every guest, purrs by their leg- begging for attention and once hes received his quota, he goes back to his solitude.

However, in the many years that Felix has been staying in the house, only recently have I seen him sitting in this weird position. Normally, all feline and canine species atleast, sit on all fours. Felix, however, sits on his two hind legs and rests his back against a wall. The first time I saw him do this, I thought it was a one time thing. Maybe his brain is somehow malfunctioning and isn't able to process how to sit right. But the posture just became more and more frequent- slowly becoming pretty permanent. I thought that it could maybe be because hes turning old and finds it harder to keep his back upright.

But then, just a few days later as I was scrolling through my instagram, I i began seeing reels on my fyp of owners showing more and more cats sitting in the same posture. It wasnt very uncommon afterall!

But what was weirdest of all was that, all of these owners had cats that were of the same colour and species as mine- AN ORANGE PERSAIN CAT! 😂

And the sitting posture isn't the only weird thing about them! Apparently, orange Persian cats do have a few atypical traits in them- that are all weird but cute.

Not to mention the memes born out of this- The amount of memes on orange cats is just tremendous 😮‍💨
