Christmas is the day of compassion. There's no better day to take this step. There are many reasons to go vegan this Christmas. Veganism is kinder to animals, to people and to our planet's future. Going vegan is a great opportunity to learn more about nutrition and cooking, and improve your diet. Research has linked vegan diets with lower blood pressure and cholesterol, and lower rates of heart disease, type 2 diabetes and some types of cancer.
The definition of veganism has expanded over time to include more than just the principle of emancipation of animals from exploitation by man. Veganism is a way of living which seeks to exclude - as far as is possible and practicable - all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing or any other purpose. It can also be described as a philosophy and way of living which seeks to exclude all forms of animal exploitation and cruelty. It is rooted in normative ethics, which means that it is based on the idea that humans should not exploit animals or other resources.
Christmas is a celebration of life. By avoiding animal products and focusing on plant-based foods, we can create a more compassionate atmosphere that celebrates life rather than death.
There's only W in this.
