Tomorrow is a big day of the World Cup 2023 season, its the first semi final and No 1 i.e., team India and No 4 New Zealand of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup will be playing against each other at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai to reach the finals and get the 2023 World Cup Trophy.
For India, its a super important match and they have remained unbeaten throughout the World Cup and destroyed all the 9 opponents, and now they're again going to face New Zealand in the first semi-final.
Although India has been at a great form in this World Cup, and New Zealand also started pretty good, but they have lost some matches consequently. But India's record against New Zealand has been quite patchy.
The numbers are stacked against India as New Zealand has dominated the game in the tournament. In fact, apart from the current edition, the last World Cup win we managed against the Kiwis was in the 2003 World Cup, but one fact to be noted here is that we didn't play against them in 2007, 2011, or even the 2015 World Cup.
India have lost their last four knockout matches against New Zealand across formats.
Hopefully, India will continue its great form tomorrow, and remain unbeaten, and reach the finals of the Cricket World Cup 2023, and lift the Trophy in its home country!
