Russians are in East Ukraine, Crimea and have complete access to the Black Sea except the Odessa port. Ukraine is promising a ‘Spring Offensive’ to drive the Russians back to Russia.

The source of their confidence:

Ukraine will receive 120 to 140 Western tanks in a "first wave" of deliveries from a coalition of 12 countries - Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said on 31 Jan 2023.

He further said - those tanks would include the German Leopard 2, the British Challenger 2 and the U.S. M1 Abrams, and that Ukraine was also "really counting" on supplies of French Leclerc tanks being agreed.

Going further still, he said – there are no timeline for any of the deliveries. Time will also be needed for training with the tanks.

How cool!! Actions of the West obviously do not match the rhetoric.

One weakness they NOW realise could be their nemesis:

Ukraine’s air defense system may not be able to withhold the threat of Russian warplanes as early as next month because of dwindling arms – Recently leaked Pentagon Documents.

It further reveals - if Ukraine continues at current consumption rates, it will have completely depleted its stock of Buk missiles by 13 April and of S-300 missiles by 3 May.

Going further, it reveals - most of Ukraine’s critical national infrastructure outside Kyiv and two other areas in southwestern Ukraine will no longer have air-defense cover, with the number of unprotected critical sites jumping from six to more than 40.
