World Dance Day 2023 is an annual celebration of dance held on April 29, which aims to raise awareness of the importance of dance in different cultures and societies around the world. The event, also known as International Dance Day, celebrates the birthday of Jean-Georges Noverre and promotes this artistic expression. Noverre was a French dancer and ballet director who is considered  the father of modern ballet.  As we celebrate International Dance Day, we honor Indian actors who have captivated audiences with  dynamic, passionate and elegant performances on stage and screen.
