We all love Shah Rukh and he is known the King of Romance of Bollywood.
Whether you're at a wedding reception or walking down the streets, you might have heard "Tujhe Dekha to ye Jana Sanam" being played and you can already picture Kajok in her white salwar running towards Shah Rukh Khan outstreching his arm slowly in middle of mustard feel.
But do you know who really made Shah Rukh Khan the king?
It was director Yash Raj Chopra, whose filmmaking and direction created the King we love today.
He's an urban legend who carefully constructed the beautiful characters and made everybody believe in love.
Yash Raj Films shaped an entire generation and taught them what love feels like and just in your heart but also on your skin and gave you goosebumps.
Aditya Chopra along with his father created masterpieces and even today he's following the legacy of his father. These two men together have created an entire empire of films which are known for their grand romantic gestures, public declaration of love and elaborate dance sequences.
The larger than life portrayal has ignited hope in people and made them believe in the impossible love, which can be made possible.
The Romantics is directed by Smriti Mundhra in a interview says, "Cinema in general from all over the world has given us a fairly impartial and skewed perception of romance. Hindi cinema takes that to a different degree. If you're not jumping off a building or throwing rose petals off a helicopter or chasing me on a train platform, is that even romance?"
It was from 80's that Bollywood became synonyms to love and it was the contribution of Yash Raj Chopra.
It's been almost four decades and Yash Raj Chopra's legacy is a alive and we can't see it in the films which he created. Although today he's not alive but his films are and always will be.
