Unpopular opinion: soccer is boring

I mean what kind of game ends with a 0-0 scoreline?

I get it that they use only feet and head and that requires some skill and a lot of cheating (one of the most famous goals is literally called the hand of god lmao) but just kicking the ball around for an hour and a half with just one or two (if you're lucky) strikes is just really like watching paint dry.

Agree it's a great game for 7 year olds. All the running on the field takes care of kids boundless energy. It saves parents energy and effort of running after their kids at home. 

But watch 22 grown man have a go at it? Ugh!

I know some of you guys are going to go, "oh you dont get the beauty. There's so much beauty in running and kicking that its literally called the beautiful game."

Good for you.

As far as I'm concerned, give me a sport that has the pace, panache and constant thrill of a buzzing scorecard.
