YG Entertainment's Latest Girl Group, BABYMONSTER, Marks Much-Awaited Debut With "BATTER UP" MV

On November 27, 2023, at midnight KST, BABYMONSTER, YG Entertainment's newest girl group, made a dazzling entrance into the K-pop scene with their debut digital single, "BATTER UP."

Asa, a member of BABYMONSTER, showcased her songwriting prowess by co-writing the music and lyrics for "BATTER UP." Notably, other prominent artists from YG Entertainment, including Jared Lee, YG, TREASURE’s Choi Hyun Suk, AKMU’s Lee Chanhyuk, WHERE THE NOISE, and BIGTONE, also contributed to the lyrics. The music composition was a collaborative effort by Chaz Mishan, YG DEE.P, Jared Lee, and Asa herself.

Prior to their official debut, BABYMONSTER had treated fans to a pre-debut release titled "DREAM" in May.
