The third trimester of pregnancy can be full of mixed emotions , the excitement of meeting your new baby , the fear of being a first-time parent the bittersweet knowledge that your pregnancy & is coming to an end , this is the perfect time to turn to your yoga & practice for affirmation and grounding . Below listed yoga poses are safe for third trimester and will take care of preparing your body for child birth ;
1 Malasana ( Garland Pose ) - This squat pose stretches the groin area , opens the hips , makes room for the growing baby .
2 Baddha konasana ( Butterfly Or Cobbler's Pose ) - It Eases the labour process , prepares for vaginal birth by opening the thighs , groin & pelvic muscles .
3 Utthanasan ( Squat and Rise Pose or Goddess Pose ) - This allows the baby's head to position correctly in order to engage around 37 weeks .
