YouTube is set to take its Creator Music feature to new heights by incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) tools. The innovative enhancement is expected to simplify the process of music selection for creators. The upcoming AI-enabled feature, scheduled for launch next year, will function as a music concierge, providing music suggestions based on creators’ input descriptions. Such details may include the type or length of the song required, and the tool will subsequently recommend a suitable track at an optimal price.
The Creator Music feature was initially designed to aid creators in finding the perfect music for their videos. It allows creators to search for songs, artists, or genres, and then view the corresponding licensing costs. The feature further enables creators to search for tracks within their project’s set budget and decide whether to purchase a license after reviewing the terms or opt for a revenue share agreement.
With the upcoming AI integration in the Creator Music feature, YouTube aims to streamline the music selection process for creators. By analyzing the creators’ input on their requirements, the AI tool will generate music suggestions that align with their needs, ensuring a more seamless and efficient selection process. This advancement not only saves time but also enhances the quality of content produced by creators by offering music that perfectly complements their videos.
Alongside the AI-enhanced music selection feature, YouTube has also unveiled plans to launch an AI-dubbing tool named Aloud. This tool, set to be available in YouTube Studio, will allow creators to generate AI-dubbed versions of their videos in diverse languages. Before adding the dubbed version to their videos, creators will have the opportunity to review it, ensuring that the output aligns with their content. Currently, Aloud is being tested with a select group of creators and is projected to be widely available next year.
